Crafted for excellence, HDMI fiber redefine clarity and speed, effortlessly transcending the limitations of traditional HDMI technology. Embrace a seamless viewing experience with minimal interference and maximum reliability.
Fiber optic HDMI cables offer a number of advantages over traditional copper twisted pair HDMI cables. The first and most dramatic available lengths.
Fiber optic HDMI cables suffer so much less interference, and the signal, so little attenuation down the length of the cable, that fiber optic cables can be extremely long in comparison. Where a standard HDMI cable made from twisted copper wires can reach up to 32ft in HDMI 2.1 – though more like 16 feet for passive HDMI 2.0 cables – fiber optic HDMI cables can run for 1000 feet.
The HDMI signal is also vulnerable to interference caused by high-voltage electric lines and electromagnetic devices. When it comes to an A/V environment, it always requires massive cables and complicated A/V setups.
Though the consequence is minor sometimes, it would not be acceptable for professional audio visual integrations and applications that require smooth presentation of video and audio.
HDMI 2.1 opens up a new world of possibilities by more than doubling the bandwidth of the HDMI 2.0 standard.
With 48Gbps of bandwidth, HDMI 2.1 features support for ultra high resolution 8K video and blazing-fast 4K 120Hz refresh rates. But one thing has been missing from the HDMI ecosystem: Longer cables.
With the increased bandwidth as specified in HDMI 2.1, traditional copper cables do not cut it at longer distances. Unlike older HDMI standards, 48Gbps HDMI cables can only be so long before the signal integrity suffers – usually around 3 meters at normal thickness.
This can be problematic for gamers and home theater enthusiasts who need to connect distant 8K A/V equipment and game consoles.

The fiber optic HDMI cable utilizes active optical modules developed by Silicon Line, to enable long-distance connectivity without the need for external power. Gamers and film buffs can enjoy unmatched HDMI performance without bandwidth loss or signal degradation.
SYONG Active optical cables, (AOCs), overcome the limitations inherent in wire cable assemblies to allow for longer, thinner and lighter cables in the living room that meet UHS Program requirements, including low EMI, while supporting consistent and reliable HDMI performance. AOCs address the market needs for ever-increasing bandwidth requirements, including high resolution and high frame rates demanded by next-generation gaming consoles now being launched.
